Welcome Home

THANKS LEESA for helping me have a little fun this afternoon, pass some time and also learn about myself!

Based on your drawing and the 10 answers you gave this is a summary of your personality:

Your house tells the world that you ought to be a leader. You are good at making friends and when the joyful moment arrives, you make the most out of it. You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You are very tidy person. There's nothing wrong with that because you're pretty popular among friends. Your life is always full of changes.

When it comes to love, you shut yourself off. It's difficult to win your heart because you have decided to keep your feelings deep inside. You have a strong personality and you like to command, influence and control people.

You added a flower into your drawing. The flower signifies that you long for love. It also safe to say that others don't see you as a flirt. You don't think much about yourself.

DON'T LET KATIE SEE THIS!

Katie will read this and say "I TOLD YOU SO!"

I am 59% Internet Addict.
Total Internet Addict!
I am pretty addicted, but there is hope. I think I'm just well connected to the internet and technology, but it's really a start of a drug-like addiction. I must act now! Unplug this computer!

OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH

That's what I said when an IM window appeared and the familiar screen name was there with the line Hey Tree, it's me!!

I finally found my old friend Valerie! (old referring to how long we've been friends and not us in any way whatsoever!!!)

Our lives have been soooo crazily familiar ever since we were younger!! I almost always know what's going on with Val just from what is going on in my own life.

Anyhow, welcome back Bellberdie!!! Can't wait to see you in March!!!

NO ERIC!! If you get to use the good life saver, then you have to be Dark Mold and I get to be Dark Fader!

(there is a really nice picture of them in their Star Wars pillowcase/hooded robes, but it won't upload, so insert imagination here)

Coversation with Brendan

"Hey Mom, I have this really funny friend at school.

He said to me, 'push my shoulder and I'll melt.' So I did.

And he said (in a high voice) I'm melting, melting.

He really is funny Mom, true story."

See warning below

Amy? Terry? Anybody else who refers to THE football team based in a major city in Pennsylvania that is NOT named after a bird, as Pittspuke, Pissburgh or Them Damned Steelers, go on and skip today's entry. It will be annoying to you, and not very interesting or entertaining. I like ya, so I'm warning ya! :-)

It just feels so great to know that the waiting is over and we are back where we should be! The family, of course, was NUTS!! There was no doubt we'd make it after an early lead, and the crazyness just continued!!

Whew!! What a day. I can't wait till FEBRUARY!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!

(Imagine music fading out here...and tens of thousands of fans chanting)...."Here we go, here we go, here we go, STEELERS, here we go!!! PITTSBURGH'S GONNA WIN THE SUPERBOWL!!!"

What does the music say about you?

Here, you have to go HERE and see what song was number one on the day you were born! For the love of PETE!!! Let me know what it was ok???? Thanks!

It's no secret (unless you've read NONE of my blog) that I'm a huge fan of music. This was very interesting to me!!

Here's what I came up with.

My song: People gotta be free - Rascals
My daughter's song: How am I supposed to live without you - Michael Bolton
My oldest son's song: I knew I loved you - Savage Garden
My little guy's song: Family Affair - Mary J Blige

It could have been worse...

Alright, I am confident enough to discuss this here. It seems like twenty times a day I say "I'm going to blog that for sure. Wow, that's something for my blog" or something like that. Today I actually remembered what I was going to share.

You know how people ask "What is your most embarrassing moment?" I love that question because the things I do are not really embarrassing, just absurd, and since I have a magnificent (yes magnificent) sense of humor, I can laugh at myself about them.

So, today, around noon, I noticed my pants are on inside out. The seams down the side gave it away. They are just loose black spandex/nylon material (I checked when I fixed them.) so there were no pockets sticking out, no other tell tale-signs other than the seams. Go on, shake your head, i'll wait. I've done worse! LOTS worse. This was funny but not rip roaring. Actually, now that I think of it, none of the "embarrassing" things I've done got big laughs, until I talk about them later on. When I left the bathroom that time with my skirt tucked in my pantyhose, I laughed all the way home...later on. When I reached up to fix a poster shortly after I started working here and my pants fell, it was ridiculous, but not hilrious. Sure when I told Amy she snickered, and won't let me forget about it, but no one came close to busting a gut. It's about the same as when I tripped over the bottom file drawer rushing into Melanie cubicle to, I don't know...gossip probably, and pretty much fell onto her desk in front of the general manager, or went to sit down and slipped off the chair and landed on my butt on the floor...no biggie...just Amy looking over the desk serious as heck asking "are you ok?" I know she was most concerened with my safety and not ready to cry from holding in laughter. Just as my initial reaction when something absurd happens is to remain calm and serious.

HAHAHA...ok, I almost made it through that last sentence...hooo hooo...ha...wow, that one kind of hurt. giggle.

who dey? WE DEY!!!

I gotta tell you, the weekends are getting better and better. MY Steelers (yes they are mine, we've established this already in earlier posts) won yesterday and I couldn't be happier.

By the way, I think this man is AWESOME!!!!

(I do secretly feel bad for Palmer though, but our offense was awesome and that has nothing to do with Palmer)

So now we face the Colts. Umm...OKAY!

What makes me even happier is seeing how much my nephews, Dillon and Anthony (Tony to me) and daughter, Katie, for that matter, share in our enthusiasm. They are right there high fiving and knuckle punching (a standard now during games) at every game we watch. Ok, as you know from earlier posts, Dillon doesn't cheer for the Steelers, but we found a home video the other day that shows him wearing a Steeler T-shirt, so we know secretly, he holds them in his heart. (hee hee)We've had the privledge on a couple occassions now, to visit the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, and was lucky enough to catch Charlie Frye's last game at Akron U.

I took both D and T to their first NFL games (I am happy I was the one to provide them with that experience), and look forward to taking my daughter next season.

It's just so great and so much fun knowning that we all have this one thing in common and can joke about it, enjoy it, and appreciate it all together.

HERE WE GO!

I've got class I tell ya!

I liked this test the best! Thanks (for the millionth time) LEESA! for a great quiz. I learn so much about myself during these...who woulda thunk Isa fruitcake?

But the fact that I scored 85% higher in class has me vaccuuming in my heels and pearls.

Carole Lombard
You scored 16% grit, 14% wit, 47% flair, and 40% class!
You're a little bit of a fruitcake, but you always act out in style. You have a good sense of humor, are game for almost anything, but you like to have nice things about you and are attracted to the high life. You're stylish and modern, but you've got a few rough edges that keep you from attaining true sophistication. Your leading men include William Powell, Fredric March, and Clark Gable. Watch out for small planes.

Find out what kind of classic leading man you'd make by taking the Classic Leading Man Test.
